Dimock Adult Primary Care has a highly experienced staff of internal medicine and family medicine providers (doctors and nurse practitioners) with an extensive range of expertise. The Dimock Center works in close partnership with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Our affiliation with BIDMC enables Dimock to host BIDMC medical residents in one of the largest community-based residency programs in the city.

We offer integrated medical and behavioral health care, with a unique, innovative behavioral health program that affords rapid access to mental health services, including therapy, substance use counseling, and psychiatry, all within the structure of the Adult Medicine clinic. We provide a varied and deep level of comprehensive, patient-centered care, working in collaboration with other clinics and support services within The Dimock Center to benefit the individuals we serve.

Our Community Care team provides intensive support services and medical care to people living with HIV/AIDS.  Through our outreach in the community, we strive to help more people access their best course of care and enable their self-sufficiency.

The Dimock Center’s Medical Case Managers (MCMs) and Psychosocial Advocates help clients navigate our multidisciplinary clinic and help connect them to outside supports. Our Nurse Medical Managers provide medical care and are in close contact with the MCMs and Psychosocial Advocates. Clients can also access support groups, educational meetings, and referrals. Our staff works closely together to improve the lives of those we serve and empower Community Care patients to keep their minds and bodies strong.

Specialty Clinics and Services

Our Community Care patients benefit from services which include: medical case management, psychosocial advocacy, nurse medical management, primary care, HIV specialty care, OB/GYN, eye care, dental, nutrition, mental health, and housing services.

Integrated testing for Hepatitis C, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and HIV is provided by Community Care and available at various times and locations within the Roxbury community.

Our services are provided in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.

Our Dental team is committed to providing quality treatment for patients of all ages, including specialty pediatric dental care. We work closely with primary care providers across Dimock’s campus to support patients and families – from Pediatrics and Behavioral Health to Child and Family Services, to ensure that dental health plays a role in all patients’ lives.

Pediatric Dental Care
Good dental habits and cavity prevention must begin early.  Though baby teeth last for only a short time, good dental hygiene habits last a lifetime and contribute to sound overall health. Visits to our pediatric dentist ensure that oral health becomes a natural part of children’s lives, and our friendly staff of dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and dental externship students make it easy. We measure our success not only by the quality of our services and care, but also by the quality of the relationships we develop with our patients.  We invite you to be a part of our family. In addition to routine eye exams, the clinic provides contact lens services, treatment for eye diseases, and urgent care. There is a full eyeglass dispensary with a wide range of styles to meet all needs. Specialty services include pediatric vision care, vision therapy, and specialty contact lenses. We collaborate with other centers to offer low-vision referrals.
