Charles Anderson, MD, MPH, MBA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Charles Anderson is a physician leader, healthcare executive, entrepreneur, and advocate for community health with over 25 years of experience in the Boston-area healthcare community. He currently serves as President and CEO of The Dimock Center in Roxbury, MA, one of the most comprehensive community health centers in the region, providing integrated health care, behavioral health, addiction medicine, early education, and family support.

In 2024, Dr. Anderson received an inaugural Innovator in Healthcare award from the Boston Business Journal, which has also recognized him through its Champions in Health Care program. Dr. Anderson shares his healthcare and business knowledge regularly in classrooms at the Questrom Graduate School of Management (where he received the Health Systems Management Distinguished Alumni Award in 2022) and Northeastern University.

His career spans healthcare consulting at Deloitte, a VP role at Caritas Christi Healthcare System, and as one of the founding partners at Exaltare Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on health and wellness investments. He is a frequent speaker on the intersection of healthcare, wellness, technology, and the investment community, drawing on a career path that began as a freshman at Princeton University at the age of 15.

Dr. Anderson currently serves on the boards of and as an advisor at The Boston Foundation, Berklee College of Music, Boys and Girls Club of Boston, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He also serves on the Opioid Recovery and Remediation Fund Advisory Council.

Dr. Anderson earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, an MPH and MD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and School of Medicine, and an MBA from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
