I am back at it again! I am super excited to run my 10th Boston Marathon for The Dimock Center. The Dimock Center is proud to be an official Partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program. Why am I so excited to run for The Dimock Center…. Because they provide services so vitally needed in the greater Boston community. The Dimock Center operates an integrated model of care that meets the physical, psychological and educational needs of individuals and families within the Roxbury community. Annually they provide high quality, low cost health care and human services to over 19,000 people. Their services range from primary healthcare, acute addiction services, residential shelter and family and children services. In particular, the Dimock Center provides 291 children early head start and head start services each years. The services give these kids a critical boost to set them on a successful journey to academic success and lifelong learning. Please help me give the kids a head start by donating to my 2020 Boston Marathon campaign.

I am proud to be officially running again for The Dimock Center in the 2020 Boston Marathon. Over my last three runs for this amazing organization, I have been extremely grateful to each of you for helping raise ~$40,000. Your commitment to the mission of this vital community organization has been impressive. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This year, I am again soliciting your support as we contribute towards the goal of providing access to high-quality physical and mental healthcare, for the underserved populations in and around Boston, MA. Health equity is wealth equity. A person with a healthy mind and body can actively contribute to society, feel self-confident and maintain their human dignity. A number of you have asked me why I would “punish myself by running another marathon” :). My answer to this questions is that we can all do our own little piece, towards this goal of better healthcare for all. This is my own way of volunteering for a cause I am passionate about.
